Through the many years, revolutionary life-changing agreements have taken place, and hence, created the corporate world – a realm where economical and political decisions intertwine. Amidst the gray area of agreements and disagreements of the corporate world, are hurdles to be crossed everyday. We will encounter success and regret. However when there doesn’t seem to be any explicit right or wrong and differing agendas tug in several directions, how can common ground be achieved? Will humanity ever agree on anything? What factors orchestrate the convergence of will and purpose?  The endless list of questions continues, leaving us to play the victims of time.

This issue of AConomicS addresses the ‘common ground’ regarding global issues. We evaluate the consequences of agreements or even potential agreements made between countries and individuals. Who knows what new eras might be born out of these agreements? So join us, as we explore the rocky roads of the past and present and be exposed to a myriad of fresh perspectives. Hold fast to your opinions, for you’ll never know when they might help you reach that elusive common ground.
