The Careers Advisor/University Counsellor provides students with information about higher education options, entry requirements, career choices and guides them through the application/admission process. Students are guided to make informed decisions with regards to their undergraduate studies, university selections, application process and career paths.
To create self awareness and promote decision learning among the students, the following opportunities are created for students in this school: · Compulsory one-to-one interview for Year 6 students · Visits/Presentations from local and foreign universities · Yearly Higher Education Fair – for students and parents · Briefing for Year 5 students during the Yearly IB Conference · Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) preparation class · Morrisby Profile testing for career guidance · Careers Talk · Job Shadowing for Year 6 students · School trips to universities on a yearly basis · Career profiling for students in lower years
