Our AimsGenerally, the subjects aim to develop a critical understanding of the human experience and behaviour, the physical, economic and social environments that people live in and the history of political, social and cultural institutions. In addition, the arts subjects focus on creativity and varied aesthetic expressions and forms reflecting different adaption of cultural contexts. Our ApproachBesides the learning of facts, theories and concepts of each subject, the teaching approach seeks to foster the capacity to analyse and evaluate facts, theories, concepts and arguments. In class, students are encouraged to ask challenging questions and engage in meaningful discussions and presentations. Independent group and/or individual research projects are regularly incorporated in every subject. Fieldtrips, local and overseas, are also an integral part of the learning experience. |
