How do you feel about studying in ACS (International)?

Studying in ACS International is a great joy, as the school has a very unique international identity which enables us (as students) to work with and be friends with people all around the world!

The teachers and staff are also very friendly and helpful which makes the learning experience fun and extremely enjoyable.

What do you like about the programme you are in right now?

The IB Diploma Programme gives us (students) a lot of opportunities for presentations and group work, which I find both very helpful and enjoyable as often through these activities we are able to improve on presentation skills and also working cooperatively with others. The IB Programme also promotes us to enquire in areas of interest through extended essay, which helps us in our further studies.

How has studying in ACS (International) or in Singapore changed your perspective or your personality?

Studying in ACS International has definitely helped me in developing my leadership skills by the taking on of several leadership roles. Studying in ACS International has also made me a much more confident person when presenting myself to others!

How do you feel about studying in ACS (International)?
I have spent my whole life learning in international schools across the world. But studying in ACS (International) has provided me with a unique opportunity. I really enjoy studying here because of the strong Christian values that are taught and upheld in the school. These Christian values permeate throughout school life and have an impact on everything the school does. This is something that both my parents and I appreciate. ACS (International) also offers the International Baccalaureate, a strong and enriching programme. Unlike other schools, ACS (International) really engages with the spirit of the IB and makes a successful effort to instill in students the IB's principals of developing caring, inquiring and knowledgeable people who understand and respect different cultures.

What do you like about the programme you are in right now?
The International Baccalaureate is the programme the school offers in the final two years of school. When I started the course in January 2010, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself in for! The IB is a very demanding and challenging course which stretches its participants to the limit. The thing that I like most about it however is that through the Creativity Action and Service program it provides a platform in which it encourges students to try new things and so broaden their minds and become well rounded people. The IB is not a set of exams; it is a way of education.

How has studying in ACS (International) or in Singapore changed your perspective or your personality?

ACS (International) is very successful in its dramatic endeavours. Over the course of my time at the school, it has provided me with many opportunities to get involved in drama. I have really enjoyed this and I feel that the strong guidance the drama teachers provide has grown me as an actor and also made me realise how much room there still is for improvement! I hve really enjoyed studying at ACS (International) becuase when I joinned the school i was for the first time studying in an environment in which most people wanted to learn and wanted to do well. This helped me to work hard, but also to enjoy working in a way I never did before.
