About the Executive Management

ACS (International) is currently headed up by Rev Dr John C. A. Barrett as the Principal, assisted by Mr Joseph Ng and Mrs Ivy Teo as the Associate Directors for Business Development and Administrations respectively. The Principal is also assisted by the Vice Principal Ms Kathleen Manley and Mr Charles Png in all academic and disciplinary matters.

Rev Dr Barrett has 14 years’ experience as Headmaster of The Leys School, the prestigious Methodist private school in Cambridge, UK. He graduated with a B.A. (Hons) Economics from Newcastle University and an M.A. Theology from Cambridge University. He has many years of experience in teaching the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) as well as of working with students of many nationalities. As an ordained minister he is currently serving as the Chairman of the World Methodist Council. He is also the former Chairman of the British World Methodist Committee.
