Class size and Academic Term
While classes are taught with no more than 24, higher levels elective subjects currently averging 15 in one class.
Although ACS (International) runs a foreign academic curriculum, it is done within the public academic framework - aligning to the public school academic year with 4 terms:
- Term 1 - January to March with 1 week break following
- Term 2 - March to May with 4 weeks break following
- Term 3 - July to September with 1 week break following
- Term 4 - September to November with 6 weeks break following

Student and Teaching Staff Constitution
ACS (International) is an international school with Singapore context and is permitted by Ministry of Education to admit Singapore students. We shall endeavour to maintain a balanced ratio between local and foreign students to strive for multi-cultural learning environment focusing on all-round development. Extending from this, ACS (International) engages both local and foreign teachers with international teaching experience to meet individual subject requirements.
Weekly Programme in a Home Room System
Although ACS (International) ahide to the public school framework, our weekly programme is delivered in full -day classes - commencing from 8:40 am to 4:40 pm daily from Mondays to Fridays. CCAs will be conducted on Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:00 pm and Saturdays morning. See our Weekly Programme for more information.Depending on their subject selection, students are expected to' float' from one classroom to another accordance to their weekly timetable. Remedial classes and other course works (ie. assignment and greoup projects) are built in the system run over 'free periods'.
