With the much anticipated IGCSE 2009 results release this afternoon at 1pm, we are thrilled to report that ACS (International) has achieved yet another very successful year in attaining an outstanding outcome – out-performing itself as one of the leading IGCSE providers in Singapore.

The 2009 IGCSE outcome has indicated a remarkable improvement from the school’s 2008 performance, and significantly in the following areas:

1. The proportion of students gaining the top grades of A* and A has risen by 8% to 57%;

2. Thirteen students achieving five or more passes at A*;

3. Fewer students achieving the lower grades and the overall pass rate has also gone up to 94%;

4. 97% of our student cohort achieved 5 Grade C or better (Grade A*, A, B or C).

The results are a testament to the commitment of the students who have worked assiduously and responded well to the careful direction and efforts of their teachers who have worked with commendable zeal to guide the students in their studies.
